Hey Everyone! Thanks for visiting my Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team in Training webpage.

As most of you have heard I will be running my very first marathon this October in San Francisco (the Nike Women's Marathon). Running a marathon has always been something I'd wanted to try. When I found out about Team in Training I thought it'd be a great way to prepare for the marathon as well as help an amazing cause. I am 100% happy to be helping out the LLS because of my personal connections with lymphoma.

In 2000 my Grandpa Worden died of lymphoma. He was a wonderful person, and I will be running this race for him. Also, my good friend, Kristy's fiancee was diagnosed with lymphoma on Christmas 2008. He will also be in my thoughts throughout training.

My goal is to raise $4500 to help find a cause for these blood cancers. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team in Training and help advance LLS's mission.
