My Fundraising Page

Last week I started training. Since this is all new to me I am going to have to start somewhat slow. I walked/ran 20 miles last week. Luckily I've had a running buddy (Thanks Rebecca) that has made it more fun. You can track my training at http://www.dailymile.com/people/LisaC31
My fundraising efforts have not been going as good as I would have imagined. I have had two donations (Thank you Colin and Sherry.) I have been hitting up the local businesses and leaving them a letter and tax form. I have had a few give me gift certificates which I am planning on raffling off at a later date. I also made cookies and sent them to work with Colin. The employees of Macquarie were kind enough to donate $46 towards my goal.

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
