Help me help you cure cancer!



I used to claim I would run only if someone was chasing me. Now I'm training to run 13 miles. What happened???



Cancer happened. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma in April of 2007 at age 24. I underwent six months of chemotherapy, and thankfully went into remission. I am one of the lucky ones.



I watched last year as my sister, Sue Mullen, and cousin, Dana Kantalis, decided to train for a half-marathon and raise money to cure blood cancers. These two women inspired me to embark on my own journey to help find a cure for Hodgkin's Lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Leukemia, and multiple Myeloma by running in the Aramco Houston Half-Marathon on January 18, 2009.



LLS is the world's largest organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research. Their mission is simple- to cure blood cancer and improve the lives of patients dealing with blood cancers. The only way we are going to find a cure is through research, and the path toward research begins with your donations!



So, please help me as I run and raise money in honor of all blood cancer patients, survivors, and those we have lost along the way.
