Hello friends and family!

It's been a while since I last fund raised for a Team in Training event, but I am back in the saddle again and need your help. Robert and I have been involved with TNT since 2004 in a variety of capacities - participant, mentor and coach. It's a program that is very dear to us. When we first became connected with TNT we didn't have a personal connection. Since then we haven't had someone in our immediate family be affected, but have seen several close friends (or family members of friends) succumb to Leukemia.

I hate cancer and can't wait to see the day that it is no longer a threat to those we love. So until then I am going to be a part of the solution and continue supporting the mission through volunteer work and FUND RAISING.

How can you help me help find a cure?

I'm going to run/walk the St. Pete's Women's half marathon this November. You can live vicariously through me. Let me get up at the crack of dawn and put in miles, so you don't have to. All I am asking from you is monetary support of the cause. Your funds, combined with the funds of others put us one step closer to finding the cure. The cure that will stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling all types of cancers and for those who bravely lost their fight. These people are the real heroes for me, and I need your support so that we can all cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
