I'm training to participate in my 1st Olympic length triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (L.L.S.) Team In Training. All of us on the team are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I joined the team to help bring hope in lives like Steven & Luca's. I feel honored to be a part of something that has the propensity to have such a profound effect in the lives of others!

5/16/09: Our 1st team bike ride & I was late because my bike got stuck in the trunk! :)

5/20/09: 1st swim with the team. Almost drowned, but of course haha...had to remind myself how minuscule my struggle is compare to Steven's & Luca's cemo & drug treatments, so onward & upward, or as are team says, booyyaahh!!!

6/7/09: Found out Steven's cancer has been in remission since January!!! Praise God!!!!!!

2nd week of June: My legs offically hate me, some days they feel like they're going to fall off! haha I'm not kidding...going to have to start doing some ice baths! Maybe I can pull a Neo "there is no spoon/ice". Hmmm more to come...
