Before................................After................................August................
And now?
Welcome to my Team In Training Fundraising Page!
As I think most of you know I had a liver and kidney transplant in Nov 2009 and have attempted different physical challenges and enlisted to support related causes such as Donate Life and the National Kidney Foundation. In August I played basketball and did a 5k at the US Transplant Games and even tried a "long" jump with a pulled hamstring.
I'm now training to participate in a half-marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. Part of my connection is promoting bone marrow transplants. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
Anne and I both Thank You and b+
