Welcome to my 2nd Journey with Team in Training!

I am excited to announce that I have signed up for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training to run a FULL MARATHON! That's right I said FULL MARATHON all 26.2 MILES! I know it's a long distance. I know the training will push me to a level I have never been pushed before. Most importantly, I know training for a marathon is nothing compared to those fighting cancer. I don't just run for me. I run to help others. I run for hope. I run to make a difference in the world. I run for a cure!

Follow me as I chronicle my journey to the finish ine of the San Diego Rock n Roll Marathon. From now until June, I will train every Saturday morning. Building up the mileage until I ultimately reach 26.2. I'm extremely lucky because I have all the tools I need to accomplish my goals... a great TEAM, an awesome coach and supportive family & friends that will encourage me all the way to the end!

Summer 2012 TEAM

I had such an amazing experience with TEAM last year and couldn't wait to sign up for my next season. It's more than a training program... it's friendship, it's family, it's inspiration, it's a life changing experience.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I will be raising funds for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
