My journey...
I'm just $5 away from my fundraising goal. I have until October 11th to make my goal. Help me cross the finish line. DONATE NOW!
Hey guys,
I'm Hilary Pierson. I'm a junior in IB at St. Pete High. I'm on the cross-country team there, and in the off-season I run 5ks, 10ks, and 15ks around the community. I'm sixteen, and naturally I enjoy teen activities like going to the movies, concerts, beach, and hanging out with my best friends. Another hobby I really enjoy is photography, and I love making memories. This Team In Training will be experience I'll never forget, and you can make it even better for me, and especially those affected by Leukemia and Lymphoma by donating. I hope you'll help me reach my goal!

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am racing in this event in honor of all individuals who are fighting blood cancers and in memory of those who have fought their hardest like Emily Lester. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to find a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
All it takes is all you got.

I hope you will visit my web site to check back often and see my progress. Everyone suffering from blood cancers and I thank you for your support! :)
- JUNE: The first Sisters-in-Training fundraiser, our yard/bake sale, was a HUGE success! It was yesterday, and we recieved double of our expected profit! We raised almost $500 and split the profits between us. Some generous people such as Courtney Howard and my grandmother, Nana supported us by donating items to our sale and many others came out and gave donations/bought things from us. We'll definitely be having more fundraisers soon, hope to see everyone there!
JULY: In July, we've been continuing our letter-writing campaign with slow success. Our first deadline is August 8th, so if you've been waiting to donate, now is the time! My sister hosted a second yard sale/bake sale in Orlando. The profits weren't as great as last time, but we think it's due to location and advertisement disadvantages. We've been training to run our half-marathon also. Our longest run has been 8 miles, but it is quickly climbing to 10 in the next week.
AUGUST: Our plans for August include:
- Balloon pop raffle at Chick-fil-A Spirit Night
- Another yard sale (in St. Pete if you'd like to donate your things/money)
- Fundraiser tables set up at First Night (in Gulfport, August 1st)
- We're also helping at the Top Dog Triathalon at Ft. DeSoto (August 2nd)
- Long run at my house for the cross-country team (and anyone else) on August 16th
- Rays game (selling snacks with other Team in Training people)
- Donation table set up at Physical Night at St. Pete High School on August 21st
- Recommitment Day is August 8th
This is our first deadline, and we need to each have $1050 in our accounts by then.
