Saving Lives One Mile at a Time...

Welcome to my Team In Training home page. I did it! I made up my mind, and anyone who knows me knows that’s hard to do. Now, I have to do it! Ok I have to train and stop eating the great things I love, run and sweat! "OMG", I hate that. This is the best way for me to help to find a cure. Will you help me help many others?

I'm training to participate in an endurance event, The Inaugural Women's Running Magazine Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, and my Honored Teammates Janet and Jerry. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a CURE! This event will be Nov 22, 2009 in St Pete, FL.

This makes it hard for me to Train with my Team. BUT please know that I am working hard and training on my own. I am COMMITED because I battle everyday, getting up for work, running back and forth, is nothing compared to the fight my honored teammates are fighting!
