Racing to Save Lives

Fundraising GOAL = $1800


I did it !!!! I ran my first road race, a 1/2 Marathon on November 22nd !

I know it says my goal is $0 but I have $95 left to go !!!! My deadline is Demceber 22nd


Yes, thats me in the pic ! ..... Im just past Mile 10 and still smiling ( I was crying on the inside LOL )



All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! I promise to work hard to reach my goal and to help save the life of another !



Its time to make a difference and YOU can help !!!!

11.22.09 1/2 Marathon completed in 2:49:33


10.31.09 Ran 10.2 Miles !!! Amazing !! I never thought it was possible. What doesnt kill me only makes me stronger. GO TEAM !!


10.24.09 Ran 9.35 Miles this Saturday !!! Went a little slow but did the whole thing without walking !! Thanks for all the support!!


10.17.09: Runs are going well since it has cooled off here in Florida. Up to 7 miles at a 12:10 pace. Hope to do 8.5 miles at 12:20 pace next Saturday!!!

    "In '98, I ran 26.2 w/ TNT in Alaska. Never would I have guessed that 11 yrs. later, my own son would get ALL. On Father's Day, I took my 5 1/2 y/o son, Aidan, to the ER w/ a reoccurring cough. He was diagnosed w/ ALL & put in the ICU. He responded quickly to the chemo & was in remission w/in a wk. & given a 85% chance for a full recovery. A few days later he got the Swine Flu IN THE ICU & due to his low immune system, he passed away on July 17th, just 3 1/2 weeks after the nightmare began. We've started a non-profit to fight hospital-acquired illnesses, but need people like you to keep raising money to find a cure for cancer so other parents don't have to feel our pain.
