Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All

of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia,

lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

In April 2008, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma at the age of 38. A cancer diagnosis is devastating. Suddenly every plan you have ever made is put on hold as you fight for your very life each and every day. Fortunately, there is treatment available and while it is no walk in the park to deal with chemo and radiation, I am grateful every day for those who have gone before me raising money for a cure. I don't ever want any other mother to have to wake up after a cancer diagnosis and wonder what will happen to her kids without her. I hope you feel the same.

Those of us training and raising money

Please donate whatever you can so that one day soon, blood cancers will become a disease that will not strike fear and uncertainty in our lives. Give from your heart and we can DO it!
