Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I'm training to participate in an Olympic distance triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this triathlon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers as well as all those who are fighting any other type of cancer known today.

The triathlon that I am training for is the Nations Triathlon which takes place in Washington D.C. on September 14th of this year. It includes a 1.5k swim, 40k bike, and 10k run. This will be by far my greatest physical challenge that I’ve undertaken.

The reason that I’ve chosen to take on this task and participate in Team In Training is because it incorporates my passion for endurance events and the opportunity to raise enough funds to make a mark on cancer research. I know that if I reach my fundraising goal, I can make that mark. I’ve found my niche and I’m working hard to achieve my goal.
