Everyone,

For my second marathon, I have joined up with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training (TnT) to raise funds and awareness to help fight blood cancers. In May 2012, I will be running in the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati as a member of TnT. With this event, I am challenging myself mentally and physically and I would like to ask for your support.

I have been sent on a mission - to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. Acomplishing my mission requires me to participate in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training (TnT). By joining with TnT, I have obligated myself to raise funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. I want to improve my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

Nearly 1.5 hrs into my first marthon. At this point, I still have those crazy eyes of determination.

Wow, the last 100 ft to the finish line - I made it to the end in 4 hr 5min. What was I thinking when I signed up for this???? Check out how small that running stride is... but, hey, I can actually complete one of these things!
