Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

My personal inspiration comes from a second grade student at Valley Elementary School, Ally Barnett. Ally and her family continue to amaze me with their strength and determination as Ally battles Leukemia. This is a big challenge for such a little girl, but I have every faith that Ally is going to be victorious!

At Valley, we all consider ourselves members of Ally's Army. When Allly cannot be with us at school, we are always praying for her and thinking positve thoughts. As the principal of Valley School, it is an absolute honor to have a student like Ally who continues to teach all of us so very much about true strength of character!
