4 days to Cbus...here we go TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, our longest training run of the season is now over! The Saturday 5:00 a.m. wake up call came early, but it was a good run and I can now say I'm glad to be done with that one after 2 hrs/20 min of fun running! We beat the hills right off the get-go!!! They say that Cbus will be easier as it's way flatter than the Natti, however I think I'll miss our hills a little bit this time around:)

Great job yesterday, TEAM!!! A special thanks to the volunteers that woke up extremely early to cheer all of us on and host the water stops and treats at the end. Anyone that has done TNT knows that those cheers get you through the hills, miles, rain and rough spots! Even our hero, Lucy, came out for us bright and early!

Race day is fast approaching-October 16th!! Fundraising deadine is Sunday, October 2, 2011!

Mark Leach and the Blue Collar Valors ROCKED Paxton's Saturday night!!! If you weren't there, you missed a great night filled with music, dancing and friends! A special thanks to Matt, Peter, Chris, Joshua, Mark and, of course, my fiance for putting on such an amazing show for a great cause. It was a huge success and I will say the most entertaining fundraiser yet!! Love you guys!

I can't thank Paxton's enough for hosting our TNT fundraiser. Everyone had a great time and the place was jammin:) Hoping to bring the boys down for another round soon!

Racing to Save Lives...for the 2nd time!

Thank you all for visiting my website. I had such an amazing experience at the Flying Pig Marathon in May, 2011 that I have decided to join TEAM again and continue to raise money for this great organization. The weather is definitely warmer this training period, but in the end I know it will be worth it again!

As before, I am raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
