Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the Tawas Bay Festival Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in memory of my good friend, Debbie Petroziello, who lost her fight against Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 1990.
Our entire triathlon team is participating in honor of our Team In Training hero , 10 year old Hannah Berryman, who is now in remission after twenty seven months of chemotherapy for Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.
I have hopes of raising $20,000 by the end of 2012 in memory of Debbie. I have raised $6,700 to date by running the Chicago Marathon in 07 and the Nike's Women Marathon in San Francisco in 08.
I know economic times are tough, but just remember that your donation goes toward bettering the lives of families that are struggling with blood cancers and the ultimate goal a CURE.
Your donation is tax deductible and you will receive a letter for your records from LLS. You may contribute online, but If you choose not to, please mail your check , made out to LLS, to me. My address is 3543 Pebble Creek Court, Mason, Ohio 45040.
