Racing to Save Lives
Yes, I'm back for more! I will be working as support staff again this winter for Team in Training and cycling another century in Palm Springs in February. (I am fully recovered from my crash and burn stunt from summer season, and actually plan on riding this century on a bike instead of a scooter!!!)
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has become very close to my heart the past couple of years. I got involved to try and do something proactive to help others fighting blood cancers, and to help fund the research to hopefully help even more from having to endure the struggle against blood cancers. This year, approximately 600,000 people will have been diagnosed with a blood cancer. And approximately every 10 minutes someone dies of a blood related cancer.
Please consider making a donation toward the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help this very worthy cause. I've seen first hand what a wonderful organization they are, that's why I keep cycling wtih them and trying to do my part to help.
I will keep everyone updated on how the season goes. I have a whole blog dedicated to my cycling, so you can always check that to see how the season is going on and off the bike! The link is:

Thanks for everyone's continued help and support! It is much appreciated, both by me, and by those who greatly benefit from the organiztion.
