Rockin' to Kick Cancer

With 19 marathons and countless half marathons under my belt, I have taken on a new and monumental challenge - to be the first person to run the entire, expanded Rock & Roll Endurance Series of events. This means 14 events held all across the country. I will complete all eight marathons and the six half marathons in this series all in the same calendar year.

These 14 events are part of my ten year quest to complete 50 marathons by my 50th birthday.

In addition to being a runner, I am a coach for the Northern California Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than to share my love of running, help others experience the thrill of crossing that finish line and helping them to raise the funds needed to beat cancer.

I hope through my participation in all 14 Rock n Roll events to promote healthy living, endurance athletics, the products and services of my sponsors and the ongoing fight against blood cancers. I hope to raise $10,000 through this campaign. It is also my goal to encourage many others to join the team, start living healthier by getting into running and learn how they can improve their lives.
