Welcome to my Team In Training fundraising page!
I'm fundraising for the 2012 San Jose Rock n' Roll Half Marathon on October 7, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. (I am actually going to use this training season to prepare for the Richmond, Virginia, full marathon on November 10, but I will also be running in San Jose.)
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line--a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission. This will be my eleventh season with TNT (previously a half marathon in San Francisco and fulls in Portland, San Francisco, Napa, Victoria BC, Atlanta, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Chattanooga, and Oakland) and I welcome anyone who would like to make a repeat donation to a great cause!
I use my personal website to keep a log of my TNT and other running activities. Be sure to check there frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
PS: That photo is me finishing the 2009 Royal Victoria Marathon. Visit my website to find out why the clock time seems suspiciously impressive!
