It's been a few weeks since I've been able to update my blog, but never fear.... I'm still running! This last weekend our TNT team ran 16 miles!!!! And it felt good!
Please support me by donating $1 for each mile I ran - 16!!!
I am having a great time running hard and I've even lost a couple of pounds! But more importantly, I'm changing lives... and you can help!
I've got only 3 WEEKS left to raise money for the marathon!!!
Please support me and change the lives of those with cancer by making a donation - if you can contribute the dollars, I'll do ALL the running!!! :)
GO TEAM!!!
Last weekend, we had a great 8 mile beach run! I must confess, it was tough coming back after the holidays... I must have eaten my weight in pumpkin pie and chocolate peanut clusters!
It's been a bit rainy in San Fran, but we were lucky to have a fairly dry run with a gorgeous view!
There were quite a few muddy spots, but those were my favorite! My shoes were caked with mud by the time we were done!
I am having a great time running hard and meeting new people. But more importantly, I'm changing lives... and you can help!

GO TEAM!!!
I wish each of you out there a very Merry Christmas! It's time for family, presents, and good food.... it's also a great time to run! I just finished my run - a 3 mile speed interval training. Whew!
Last week, our team met (in very festive garb!) at the Stanford track to learn proper walking techniques. I train in run/walk intervals, so this was a great session for me!! We had a fantastic trainer teaching us how to work our arms, hips and feet. But one should be warned... you need buns of steel for this form of "power walking"! I was just a bit sore :) I am very excited to implement this new training into my long runs.
It was so cold out there... I was eager to get moving!
My very festive team:

I had such a great experience at kickoff! We got to hear all about Team in Training and how they have impacted the lives of so many... just by raising funds and running!! I got to meet my mentor and some of my teammates. We are excited to start training!!
Please make a donation to help impact the lives of others with cancer - if you can contribute the dollars, I'll do ALL the running!!! :)
GO TEAM!!!
Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I have a mission: to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers.
To accomplish this mission, I’m participating in the Marathon de Paris on April 7, 2013 as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. I will be updating my site with pictures and stories so that you can be a part of this great adventure!
Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. With your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
Thank you for your support!!
