motivated to run (the nike women's marathon)


Thank you thank you for your support! I completed the Nike marathon on October 17th and met my goal of raising $3000! In total, (with matching gifts that are still to be included in the total on this page) I raised 3350 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

This year, I’m teaming up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and will be running the Nike Women's marathon in San Francisco in October! Over the next few months I will be raising money towards finding a cure for leukemia and lymphoma.


I am running in the memory of my husband's brother Bobby, who passed away of leukemia at the age of 12. Our son Robert is named after him. That was many years ago, and thankfully great progress has been made since then but there is still much more that could be done to stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
