ITS BACK!!!! YAYAYAYAY!!!!
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! It has been amazing for me to see so many of what we call our honorees RUN WITH US! WOW! If they can do it SO CAN I!!!
I have been running a few weeks now with Team in training! TEN MILES DOWN!! I have decided to run the NAPA FULL MARATHON! (26.2 miles) on March 1st and the San Francisco Half Marathon February 1st with my mom and my god mother Shawna. I am running this marathon in CELEBRATION of Karen and in STRENGTH of Zoe! Karen has been in remission for over FIFTEEN YEARS! GO KAREN! And little Zoe was diagnosed in March and she has been fighting PH+ ALL Leukemia since then. She is a little FIGHTER! When running REALLY gets me down I will be chanting Zoe's Brave words(Trust, Strength, Courage, Confidence, and Bravery). These two ladies are both an inspiration to me.
