Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I am running in honor of Andrew, my spirit guide who passed from Leukemia at age 16 on October 22nd, 2007. I did not know Andrew personally, however I knew his mother through my work with Angel Therapy. As we prayed for Andrew's recovery, we were all quite shocked at his passing, but his immediate presence from the other side was such a gift to me. Since then I have been in communication with him and he has guided me to TNT and LLS.

I will run the Napa Marathon in March. This will be my first Marathon and I can't wait! I'm so excited to train again with TNT, they are the best group of fun-loving, open-hearted individuals that I have ever met.

I hope you will support LLS, the survivors (see photo) who inspire us to run, and the constant support of our guides who push us along from the other side, as we run to honor them and their families who grieve their loss.
