Riding 100 Miles to Save Lives
Yes, you read that right! I've signed up for yet another century season with Team in Training. I'll be back in action this summer, training for the Moab Century Tour in September == this time (for extra bonus fun) as a mentor! I am very excited to be back on a bike and working toward a goal, especially for such a great cause.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
The economy is terrible and times are tough. But, if you can, please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training - even if it's only a few dollars - and help advance LLS's mission. Every little bit truly does help!
I hope you will visit my web site often and check on my progress. As always, I'll be blogging all my training updates at:
Tail Tales from Cycle Training
Thanks for your support!
