2010 TEAM IN TRAINING PLAN
Welcome to my Team In Training home page for 2010.
As many of you already know so well, Team and Training trains you for an endurance event while you raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Soicety.
Our family have become part of the TNT family and have participated each year since 2002.
Andrew is one of many battling one of the blood cancer. In 2009 we were devastated when another young friend of ours died of Hodgkins Lymphoma. Adrienne was a very talented and beautiful young 22 year old honoree for TNT. She had been battling Hodgkins since she was 9 years old. She had such a bright future ahead of her and was so optomistic that a cure would be found for her. A cure was not found in time for Adrienne . Her life and her story inspires us to keep trying for all cancer survivors.
We all know someone whose life have been touched by cancer. We are asking you to help us raise funds so we can stop cancer from taking more lives.
Each year we are humbled by your incredible generosity and we find ourselves asking you to give yet again. Your donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society goes directly to research and patient care. it will make a difference to the lives of Andrew, our dear friend Tom K and all the others we know who are dealing with one form of cancer or another.
In addition to the fundraising I will be training to do the Vineman Ironman Triathlon (July 31st, 2010 ) in honor of Andrew, Tom and the many other cancer survivors we know and in memory of Adrienne Boardman. Andrew will be doing the same event as part of a relay team (112 miles on his bike).
We need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - finding a cure!
