As a Team In Training member, I am given a unique opportunity to fight back. I believe in the research that the he Leukemia &

Lymphoma Societyis doing. Not only are they findng new solutions and treatments of blood cancers, but their research brings new light and insight into all types of cancer. When you hear about breakthrough treatments in the news, or hear that a friend of yours battling some type of cancer has been given a new treatment that has drastically improved their status, chances are that research started with LLS. The LLS brings hope to families and individuals battling blood cancer through research, outreach, and support . The LLS is transforming lives day by day.

This is big! I am gearing up to run an Ironman as a member of Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
