Racing to Save Lives

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.

On September 29,2009- I turn 26 years old. Except this year, in lieu of a party,gifts, and the extraordinary celebrations that usually surround this day, Im preferring to do something with my life, to make a change, and to help a good cause along the way.

How many people do you know won't even make it their own birthday this year? What if there was something you could do, to raise awareness, money, or research for a cure to a serious illness?

I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign.

I made a promise on May 19,2009, that I will not stop till I reach my goal.

And I am closer now more than ever.

As a Team in Training member I have been training every week since May,all to endure 26.2 miles on October 18,2009-when I will run the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco, California. This is a mental and physical challenge I am looking forward to conquering with the support of family,friends, and colleagues.

3 days.333 people. 3 bucks. I need to make my last 1,000 by October 7th or I wont be able to go to my marathon and complete what I've been training for all summer long. Please help!
