Racing to Save Lives

Dearest Friends and Family,

In September 2010, I will compete with hundreds of other Team In Training athletes in the Nations Triathlon in Washington, D.C. I am competing in this event in memoriam of my mother Naomi Bernstein who lost her battle with cancer. In addition to competing in her memory I will also be raising money for those who currently battle the disease; such as my honorary teammate Hailey Plunkett; still we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line: a cure!

My hope is to raise thousands of dollars to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Together we can raise funds and cancer awareness as I train for endurance events with Team In Training. Athletic training in the Florida heat is tough, but not as tough as chemotherapy and the other physical and emotional hurdles cancer patients and their families have to endure.

Our 2010 team's goal is $100,000 and I would like to raise at least $10,000. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training, and help advance the good work that TNT does in research and patient support.
