Hi everyone!
My name is Leanne Falconer and I have joined "Team in Training" with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. TNT is a group of individuals who want to make a difference when it comes to fighting blood cancers. Our team is training for a half marathon (13.1 miles) that will take place on December 11, 2011 and while we are physically exerting ourselves for the next three months we will also be exerting ourselves mentally to help raise money to fund research.
I know many family and friends that have had or currently are dealing with a blood cancer. The struggles they encounter day in and day out give me the strength to do all I can to help find cures for these horrible diseases.
This is where you can help! I need to raise a minimum of $1,200 by November 30, 2011. This is a very challenging goal but I have faith it will happen! Please know that your donations are going to help save lives...I know because I've seen it. I, as well as the LLS would be so appreciative if you could give anything at all to support this amazing cause. No amount is too little!!! Thank you so very very much!
**It's because of you...Penelope, Gramps, Nana and Monte that I have the strength to accomplish this event. You four are my hero's!!! :) **

Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
