Cancer Sucks.

Please help me raise money to fund cancer research so that we can see a cure in our lifetime.

I'm training to participate in a triathlon this May as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Team In Training". All of us on the team are raising funds for cancer research.

I have signed up for a "half-Ironman" course, which consists of:

1.25 mile swim

56 mile bike

13 mile run

This will be a huge challenge for me, and will likely take me 7 (grueling) hours to complete, but I am training 6 days a week so that I will hopefully be able to finish the course.

I am asking you for a donation to support my participation in this event. I know the economy is tough right now, but your money will go directly to cancer research and your donation is tax-deductible. If your employer matches donations, please take advantage of that as a way to make an even bigger difference!

As an incentive, I will invite the top donors to a special home-cooked dinner at my house, where I will be pairing the meal with wine from my collection. You know you want to be a part of that!
