Team Big Trees (AKA Joe and Dana) are near the end of our journey and with your help and generous contributions, together we have helped to fight blood cancers and help those afflicted.

Our event, the 25th Tour Of Anchorage Cross Country Ski Marathon, in Anchorage, Alaska, takes place in just a few days, on March 4th. We'll be leaving soon so wanted to give you an update on the drawing for the three quilts that Dana made. We're going to do the drawing in Anchorage at one of our team events. We'll film the whole thing so you don't have to be there. The lucky three recipients will be notified upon our return and the quilts will be sent to the addresses provided to us once we confirm that they are correct.

Two of the three quilts are completed. Those are the King Size and large throw quilts. The third quilt, a wall hanging, should be completed by the end of March and will be sent when it is done.

Any non-anonymous donations of greater than $10 received before noon (pacific) on Thursday, March 1st, 2012, will qualify for entry into the drawing.

Joe and Dana, AKA Team Big Trees are members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training Cross Country Ski team, raising funds to help find cures and more effective treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

We will be participating in and representing the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at a Cross Country Ski endurance event in Anchorage Alaska at the beginning of March, 2012. We would love to have you join the team and help us raise funds for LLS.
