Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I'm asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign. Team in Training is preparing me for the Tamapla Headlands 50K ultra marathon trail race on August. 25, 2012.



I would like you to be part of a unique fundraising community to bring awareness and more importantly find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. I have decided to partner with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Team In Training (TNT) to raise money for this important cause while running 32 miles to show my support for everyone who is impacted by a blood disease. I have self trained for all my marathons, and by joining The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program for the first time I will actually have a coach to help me to perform at my best at the marathon. But this is not about me. This is all about finding a cure.


I lost my father to leukemia many years ago. This will be an opportunity to celebrate him and others who have also passed away, and to help find a cure and support those who currently are impacted by a blood cancer.


My commitment to ultramarathoning has been the biggest spiritual changing event in my life. Working with you for this cause would mean a lot to me. I would not ask anything of you that I feel you could not accomplish with me. Please support me in finding the cure.


I am dedicating this event to three people who are special to me:


My Father: Lucius Williams

Friend & Collegue: Michael Penn

Friend & Neighbor: Sharif Frink

My dad and mom circa 1960. He passed away from leukemia in 1975.


Michael: Currently treating lymphoma & loving life each day.


Sharif & Dania: Sharif is managing his lymphoma while working hard and enjoying the Bay Area with Dania, family, and friends. (i love this picture)
