Because Cancer Won't Cure Itself

So you've found me. Again.

This is, for those of you who haven't been keeping count, my 8th season.

When I got off the couch 4 years ago, it was pretty amazing for all concerned that I was seriously contemplating riding 100 miles.

Now, cycling has become an important part of my life -- don't worry: cooking, beer, Mrs Long Suffering and the Small Brown Dog are still the four cornerstones of my existence.

So, why am I doing it again?

Cancer still kills people. Still wrecks lives; and even, for those strong, lucky and courageous people who battle their way through the disease, it leaves scars on their bodies and in their hearts.

Cancer's not going to cure itself.

So, come along for the ride - the blog (links below) is, hopefully, an amusing and entertaining compendium of the events, succcesses and tribulations that are part and parcel of the journey.
