Racing to Save Lives

Dear Family and Friends,



Welcome to my Team In Training home page!



I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. I will be rigorously training for the next four months in preparation to race 100 miles on a bike in Solvang on March 14th, 2009!



This is super exciting for me because I am taking on a challenge that I've been dreaming to do for a really long time, and I am so motivated to do this because it is all for a great cause. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. It is also my great honor to do it for those that are close to our hearts that not only have been affected by blood cancer, but other types of cancer as well. These people are the real heroes on our team, and our lives, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
