Racing to Save Lives

I DID IT!!!

I completed 103 miles in beautiful Solvang on March 14th. It was hard and it was amazing. I had the best teammates, coaches and mentors to help get me up those tough climbs. Thanks to all of you who supported and encouraged me along the way. I have had the best time and would highly recommend Team-In-Training to anyone. I'm training to participate in the Solvang 100-mile cycling event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am training for this event to get in shape after my fight with ovarian cancer this year and in honor of Jim, Porter and all individuals who are battling blood cancers. I need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure for cancer!
