Help me run a marathon and raise funds to fight cancer

I am running the Seattle Marathon this year to raise funds for "The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society", and to honor my dad who lost his battle to cancer in 2002.

This is big news for me as I have never engaged in an endurance event before.

To reach my goal I am sticking to a strict 5 day/week training schedule. In addition to my physical goal I am hoping to raise $4,000 by June for the Leukemia research.

Its an ambitious goal but with your help I can do it. I'm asking that you contribute a minimum of $50 (or $2 per mile), but hope that you will have a larger amount in mind for such an undertaking. Your contributions are 100% tax-deductible and at least 75% of that money goes directly towards Leukemia research, which is considered to be the best place to start on the road to finding a cure to all kinds of cancer.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you so much for your support and generosity!

Kai

"Dear lKai Who knew you'd end up running for money ? Strange how our lives twist around, hm... Here is hoping your children will do something as spirited for you some day. Don't overdo it though, would be sad to see you get hurt over trying to do good... and we all need to run to get donations to the KaiG fund! Peas on Oith, dood :) "
