Stoneman Elementary's Cake Walk Fundraiser!
With race day only a few weeks away, I'm gearing up for the 13.1 miles!!
This weekend was the Nike Preview run through Golden Gate Park and along the Great Highway. San Francisco's foggy morning weather makes for some cool running conditions, which I definitely appreciated during my 11 miles!
Fundraising is also coming along, especially with the help of my school's Cake Walk Fundraiser! Many of the teachers and staff contributed tasty treats and raised over $250 for the Cake Walk! I am so grateful to my colleagues for their contributions in supporting me!
Go Stoneman!

Special Thanks to the Primo's staff; Michael Kars, Courtney Collins, and Ally Granzella for donating their bartending and hosting tips! Also, thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed some pizza with their donation: Courtney Miranda, Ricky Smith, Scott Monroe, Johnson Family, Stephanie Chew, Amanda Nassie, Ali King and friends, Jon George, Katie Fleming, and all other Primo's Guests!

FUNraising time!
Training is going well, and I'm enjoying the variety of weekend runs around the Bay Area! 8 miles- whoo hoo!!!
I will be having a fundraiser on Wednesday, August 19th! As many of you know, I'm a waitress at Primo's in Danville, and I'll be donating all my tips to LLS this night. Plus, our bartender will be donating his tips on my behalf! I'm hoping for a good turnout from friends, in addition to my "regulars!" Happy Hour is from 5-6pm, kids eat free on Wednesdays and there will be free face painting too! Come Out!

Training.. it keeps you runnin'!
Back in California, my training schedule is up and running with weekly track workouts and buddy runs. Plus, our Saturday runs are up to 6 miles! I had a little catch up to do with my trip to Alaska, but I think all the hiking counted for some definite cross training.
I want to sincerely thank those of you that have supported me with your generous donations and words of encouragement!
Happy Summer and keep the good cheer coming!

Welcome to my Team In Training Fundraising webpage!
As a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
