Thank you! You've helped me raise almost $3000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, I hereby officially retire this page with a "job well done" to all of us.

Seventy-five cents from every dollar you donated will go to support cancer patients and their families. You've helped fund the research leading to a cure, as well as travel fees for families who could not afford to see hospitalized relatives. You've encouraged, inspired, and motivated me. You never doubted my ability and whether I was deserving of that, I haven't let you down. We've raised money and we've turned this girl into a runner. But we haven't done it all.

There is still a 51% chance that someone diagnosed with a blood cancer will die from it. I made this process a lot about me, because it's what I could offer. But it really is about a lot of other people, and literally their struggle to survive. So even though I won't be updating this page anymore, you can still come back any time you feel compelled to donate to the LLS. And I hope you do.

I've had a great time running and learning. Thank you for keeping pace with me. Everything else, from now until forever will be on my blog, Pique A Boo. Hope to see your comments there.
