Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I'm training to participate in the Nike Women's Half Marathon SF (on October 19, 2008) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. My goal is to raise at least $2,500 for this great cause! As you can see I'm very close to reaching my minimum.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers & have battled blood cancers. My personal honorees include my mom (Non-Hodgkins survivor), she has completed 3 full marathons via TnT and her good friend Laura, who is a Hodgkins & breast cancer survivor as well as a TNT Alumnae! I feel honored to be running for those who have beat cancer, those who did not make it and for those who are currently undergoing treatments, as well our Team Honorees.

Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Your generous donation is 100% tax deductible (I know we all love having deductions on our taxes to Uncle Sam!). I'm trying to complete my fundraising goal by September 30th.
