Changing Lives, One Mile at A Time!!
Thank you for checking out Team Paloma-Price!!!
We are almost there!!! On Sunday, September 5, Zulma Navarro and Vernon Crawley will be stepping it off at 6:00 a.m. (3:00 a.m. Bay Area time) for 13.1 miles. Together, Zulma and Vernon have raised more than $5,000 to help find a cure for blood cancers.
SInce 2001, Price And Associates has been proud to sponsor Team In Training events to raise money to find a cure for Leukemia. This year, for the first time, the Firm is sponsoring a group of its own walkers as part of Team Paloma for the 2010 Summer season. Our walkers are training to participate in either the Nike Women's Marathon or the Kauai Marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. Every Saturday morning, we are stepping it off to prepare our bodies and minds to walk 13.1 miles to the finish line.
Attorney Pamela Y. Price has previously joined the team of "purple people" for six races, including two full marathons in San Diego in 2001 and again in 2006, a half-marathon in Las Vegas in 2004, a half-marathon in Humboldt County in 2005 (Avenue of the Giants), the Nike Women's half-marathon in 2007, and the Oakland Running Festival in 2010. Through the generosity of her clients, friends and family, Price has raised thousands of dollars to help find a cure for blood cancers. She is proud to serve as an official TNT mentor for Team Paloma.
This year, all of us are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. As members of Team Paloma, we have committed to raise thousands of dollars to find a cure. We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support our team's participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Even in these hard times, we can still help somebody else who needs a helping hand. Just as you excel in everything . . . see that you also excel in this grace of giving. (2 Corinthians 8:7.)
Thanks for your support!
