Ironman Canada here I come. It's a 42 week program! Read my highs and lows and everything in between ...maybe my blog will entice you to join up or donate. I train and fundraise in memory of Kathy Kenyon, Heather Lynch, and Dan Fritz.
My race is on August 29th, 2010, and I need your help to raise more money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I'll be training with Team In Training (TNT) again. Please donate today.
LLS is really dear to my heart. I know more people that have died of a blood cancer than any other type of cancer and every single one of them 30 or younger. This is my connection to the cause and why I continue to be involved with the Society. Tell me your connection or learn more at LLS.org.
Did you know that blood cancers are the #1 killer of children under 20 and about 10x as many adults are diagnosed with these cancers? I get really upset even thinking about it. So say "YES! Put me down for $___--I want to stop blood cancers"!
And please feel free to pass my website along to friends and family. The more the merrier! Every dollar helps (cost to you or them--$10 movie, $50 sporting event, $100 nice dinner, etc.)!
I know that you want...wait for it...wait for it... a tax write off.
