Still Fighting for a Cure

Still Fighting for a Cure

She's at it AGAIN!?!

Hello dear friends, family, and strangers! Thank you for visiting my fundraising webpage!

After running a marathon last fall with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training, I vowed to never run that much again, it was too crazy. But, I still have two very able legs, and a considerably strong heart, and I can still use my body to make a difference in someone's life...

So, I signed up to ride a century -100 miles on a bicycle- and I've never ridden more than a couple miles! But I'm going to try, because to endure training and riding is nothing compared to the agony and distress of leukemia and lymphoma cancer treatments.

The point of all this madness is not to see how sleep-deprived and exhausted can Becky get while in grad school and teaching math, but the point is to fight cancer. I am riding to raise money to end the diseases that take so many lives each year.

If you are able, please join the fight by donating to this cause. Just think: you could go to the vending machine at work every day and buy those $1 Gardetto's -which aren't good for you anyway- or you could donate that $25/month to end leukemia and lymphoma...

:o)

THANK YOU!

PS- If you do not feel comfortable giving via credit card and internet, you can write a check to "Leukemia and Lymphoma Society" and mail it to me.
