Racing to Save Lives
Update 5/2/09 - It was wet and cold for our 6 hr hike. Even though the weather was not ideal, we had a great time. We hiked from the lower summit to Rock City, about a 2400 feet elevation difference.
Update 4/30/09 - This weeks hike is a 6 hr hike on Mt.Diablo. I've never hiked on Mt. Diablo which is only about 30 mins from my house and I've lived in the Bay Area for 20 yr!

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All
of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia,
lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling
blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we
need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
