Endurance, persistance, diligence and little bit of crazy all rolled into one!!!
When I decided to take part in another endurance event I knew that it had to be one that would push me past any limits that I thought I might have. This coming July (July 31, 2010), I will be swimming 2.4 miles and cycling 112 miles (Ironman distances) in an event called AquaBike....and yes this will happen in one day.
All of my fellow TNT participates (past and present) are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are currently battling or who have lost their battle with blood cancers. I personal have known too many people stricten with cancer and I am ready to help fight it and work towards a world without cancer!
Please help me pay it forward. The strides that are being made today are really truly making a difference in the fight against cancer. Please support me emotionally with my training and please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
