Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Once again I am lacing up my running shoes to run a marathon. But before I run the marathon, I will swim 2.4 miles and bike 112 miles and then run the 26.2 mile marathon.
On July 31, 2010 I will participate in my first Ironman distance Triathlon at the Vineman Ironman triathlon in Sonoma County, CA.
I am again training to participate as a member of The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In
Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s
lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in
honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are
the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the
ultimate finish line - a cure!
