Yes, I Am Riding Again - I will continue to endure until there is a cure!
Welcome! The picture to the left is of Team Papa at the finish line of America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride on June 7. We rode 100 miles in one day and raised over $8,000 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
This season I am training for both Solvang's Finest and Tour de Tucson - two 100 mile rides in two weeks. In addition to the training I am taking on the roll of Community Captain to increase awareness of LLS and its programs, to build team spirit and camaraderie among the participants and the community at large.
I will dedicate each ride to the memory of my dad, Bill Crawford - aka Papa, and honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Did you know...
Every ten minutes, another child or adult is expected to die from leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma. This statistic represents nearly 145 people each day, or six people every hour.
Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20.
Help us find a cure for blood cancers with a donation, no matter how small!
