Hello everyone!


Thank you so much for stopping by my Team in Training homepage!


I'm training for the Oakland Running Festival Marathon (26.2 miles) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.


Through Team in Training, I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet several survivors of blood cancers (some of whom are even racing in TNT endurance events as honorees!). I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, but particularly in honor of Franny Abu Shanab, a six year old bundle of joy who is a leukemia survivor and the inspiration for our team. People like Franny and her family are the real heroes on our team, and I would appreciate your support to help LLS cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
