"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world, indeed, it is the only thing that has." - Margaret Mead (1901 - 1978)

First, I want to thank those who have donated in the past. Without you none of this would be possible. Thank you!!

All of us have a thousand wishes - to be happier, to be thinner, to have more money, a cool car, a day off, to meet the person of your dreams... A cancer patient only has one wish and that wish is to kick cancer's ass!! In honor of someone who died. In honor of someone fighting cancer or even had cancer, please donate if you can. If you can't donate please share this website with your friends. NO amount is too small. - Thank you Stephanie

Round TWO! For the second year in a row I'm training to participate in The Avia Wildflower Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.Team in Training, also known as TNT, is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's endurance sports training program. The program provides training for events such as marathons, triathlons, & a century (100-mile) bike ride. Team members raise funds to help support LLS in exchange for certified coaches, training clinics, a personal fundraising web site, support from staff and teammates, and a fundraising mentor. Now, crossing the finish line is the easy part. Anyone can train to race a couples miles to cross a finish line made of fancy red tape. Ultimately, our finish line cannot be seen nor touched. Our finish line is finding a cure for blood cancers. Until then TNT will continue raising funds to help support people and their familes who have been effected by cancer.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who have battled and are still battling cancer. These people are the real heroes on our team and in life. We need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Did you know...?

  • An estimated 957,902 people in The US are currently living with or are in remission from leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, NHL or myeloma.
  • Every 4 minutes one person is diagnosed with a blood cancer.
  • Every ten minutes, somone dies from a blood cancer. That's 148 people each day & more than six people every hour.
  • Leukemia causes more deaths than any other cancer among children and young adults under the age of 20.
  • The leukemia & Lymphoma Society uses at least 74 cents of every dollar raised for cancer programs, funding research to find cures for blood cancers as well as assistance with the often overwhelming burdens faced by patients and their families currently fighting blood cancers.

I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your generous donations and continued support!
