Race Day - Saturday 11/22
109 miles!!!!
My time was 10:46:54 – I was sub-six…6:00 PM!!!
It was a great ride, for a great cause!!! Will I do it again? Ask me that after my hands and legs start to work properly again.

Yes, those are Jack in the Box antennae balls on our helmets. Each Team in Training Chapter has their own helmet toppers…a tradition started by the San Diego chapter.
And yes, I am still taking donations!!!!

11/15 - 23 miles (back down ride)
I am training to participate in the El Tour de Tucson as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training (TNT). I will be training for a Century Ride. Actually, a century + 9, that’s 109 miles!!! The big day is November 22nd.
All of us on the “Team” are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Also, I'm doing this to raise money to find cures for all CANCER not just blood cancers, but all cancers. Cancer research as a whole benefits from the efforts of each organization that raises money to find a cure.
I need YOUR help...
I am asking you to please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission. I have committed to raise $3,450!! In order to make this goal, I need your help. Your donation (and generosity) is greatly appreciated, cause every penny counts!
