Dear Family & Friends,
It is with a humble heart and very sore muscles I thank you for joining me in this fight to end blood cancers.
I am grateful to all the generous donors who have helped me make this goal. Last Monday, April 1, marked the 3rd year of my mothers passing. You have all helped me honor her by meeting this goal this month!
I am amazed at your generosity and my running miles. I have now run 9.6 miles, my longest distance to date and again another 8 miles. My heart is heavy in April but feeling lighter thanks to you.
In my mom's memory I hold an annual Eater Party and make the same Bunny Cake she made for us as children. This year my photographer came to photograph the children and offers the generous thank you gift for a 100$ or higher donation, a photography session with 8x10, Look at the pictures of the party and details under blog.

Dear all,
I'm so grateful to everyone who has joined me in this fight against Leukemia. Any contribution you make, 1 penny, 1 dollar, anything you can give is going to an amazing cause.
Today was a great accomplishment- I broke my record up to date- 4 miles!! I did it at record pace. Plus no rain! Yeah!! I'm feeling great and ready to keep up the hard work.
I keep my mom's spirit running along with me.
I had a difficult week finding time to train. I can see this will be a challenge to balance my life with training for a half marathon. The first week back at work with a sick child at home. Between these two things I was feeling frustrated but trying to keep my chin up. I remind myself others have bigger challenges than this.
When a family it affected by LLS they can ask for a grant for money, for a taxi to the doctors, for food... for whatever they need ...our donations help with this
plus it goes all the phenomenal research that saves lives. I can tell you, first hand, how stressful it was for my mom to be fighting leukemia, to suddenly stop working, and be worried about how long her money was going to streech. We are helping change lives and take off this pressure.
Thank you for your support and helping me live my mom's legacy.. Kindness, generosity and helping others.
Please consider sharing my fundraising link and/or telling others about my story.
In unity! Together we can make a difference.

Saturday was my first Team in Training workout. It went great but didn't come without unique challenges. First run and in the rain. I pounded the concrete and planned on "listening to my body" run between 2-3 miles. I had already planned on doing two when I met the turn around point and kept pushing onto three. It felt great to make it to three miles so I can build onto that this week. Thank you for supporting me in the fight to end Blood Cancer. Together we can.
Thank you for all your support! -Dora
Dear Family & Friends,
I am starting this exciting journey of my first half marathon in my mom Sheila E. Felber's honor. As many of you know, she bravely fought leukemia for 12 weeks and lost this battle. This isn't a time to be sad rather to honor her. Her daily message was of gratitude for all those who she knew and the many faces she never saw who helped in some way. In her spirit, I want to do something courageous, selfless, grateful and do what I can to make sure other families do not suffer as we did. THANK YOU!!

Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
